About Me
Hello! My name is Jansen Jordheim, and I'm from Kindred, North Dakota. I'm majoring in Advertising and Public Relations. I come from a family of five, including me, my mom and dad, and my sister and brother. Our dog is named Boden and he's a nine-year-old golden retriever. I love to meet new people, socialize, and get involved; I consider myself to be very extroverted. I've loved living and going to school in Lincoln so far, and I can't wait for the rest of the year!
Career Goals
I have many goals for myself, but my career goals take the cake in terms of importance. I would love to work my way up to FOX or ESPN and become a sideline reporter (specifically and hopefully for baseball). If this isn’t in the cards for me, I will switch tracks and take the Advertising and Public Relations route. I love to work and collaborate with people, so either of these paths would be a good fit for me! Overall, I want to be successful and make a name for myself in whatever I do.
This Semester
- Taking multiple classes that are related to my major while getting a few ACE courses out of the way as well
- Joined Kappa Kappa Gamma and got initiated in November
- Meeting tons of new people through classes and my sorority
- Gained a Brand Ambassador position for MyHousr
- Participating in Letters of Love
- Considering joining the Squirrel Watching Club and getting more involved around campus in other ways
Hobbies
I have many hobbies; a few include hanging out with friends, going on walks, crafting, reading, and more!
